いよいよ冬本番になりますね。秋から来ていてコートでは、夕方はもう寒いです。明日からは真冬用のしっかりコートを着ていこうかな。

それでは今日のセンテンスです。

stop by で「～に立ち寄る」でした。

stop by a bookstore で「本屋に立ち寄る」。
これに  on the way home （帰宅途中で）をつけて  stop by a bookstore on the way home とすると、「帰りに本屋に寄る」となりますね。

では、 stop by ～ on the way home を使ったシチュエーション英作文、いってみよーう！

（シチュエーション）スーツをクリーニングに出しました。それを着て、明日、仕事の面接に行きます。

Would you stop by the dry-cleaners on the way home and pick up 
my suit?
I have a job interview tomorrow. I have to wear it. 
So please.

（帰りにドライクリーニングに寄って私のスーツを取ってきてくれない？　
明日、仕事の面接があるのよ。
