これはかなりなぞ。なぜ、shoeなのか。で、吹き替えを聞いてみました。
吹替:『お靴をはいて』って言われたら、何も言わずにはいてきたわ
ああ、なるほど!お嬢様が靴を履くとき、召使の人が靴をお嬢様に出しだすときにきっと"You're a shoe."って差し出すんですね。それで、レイチェルはそれを「お嬢様」のたとえとして使ってるわけですねー。あー、結構すっきり。恐るべし吹替えの台詞。かなりお役立ちかも。 こういうとき、やはりDVDを買ってよかったと幸せを感じちゃうかも(笑)。
