Today, I'd like to introduce you to the islands of Kagawa. Kagawa is a beautiful prefecture located in Shikoku, facing the Seto Inland Sea. Because of its location, Kagawa is blessed with numerous islands. These islands are easily accessible by small ferries, so when you visit Kagawa, make sure to explore at least one of them! The island I'm featuring today is called Honjima, a small but charming island. It's just a 20-minute ferry ride from Marugame Port. As you sail across, you'll be treated to stunning views of the sea and the Seto Ohashi Bridge, giving you a taste of a tropical island getaway. One thing to note about Honjima is that many of its tourist attractions are only open on Saturdays. Unfortunately, I visited on a Thursday, so some famous spots like the unique post office were closed. However, the moment I set foot on the island, I could feel an incredible energy from the earth beneath my feet. There's a large Tenrikyo (a Japanese religion) facility on the island, which might contribute to this powerful atmosphere. I also came across some ancient stone monuments, allowing me to connect with the island's rich history.Although I only had an hour and a half to spend on Honjima due to time constraints, it was enough to recharge my batteries. Even in such a short visit, I felt rejuvenated by the island's natural power. This little adventure to Honjima was a delightful experience, showcasing the hidden treasures that Kagawa's islands have to offer. If you're planning a trip to this part of Japan, don't miss the opportunity to island-hop and discover these gems for yourself!

Remember how I was talking about maybe leaving my job? Well, plot twist – I’m sticking around! At least for now.Yep, that’s right, I got some new projects for next year. Talk about job security, am I right? So, here’s the deal – I’m in the middle of taking over stuff from the current team. It’s been quite the experience, let me tell you.The work is pretty complex, with tons of docs to go through and endless confirmation checks. The person I’m working with started off all sweet and bubbly, like a cartoon voice actress, but boy, did that change once it was just the two of us.I’ve got about 80% of the work down in just the first week, but it’s definitely not perfect. I’ve been trying to double-check things, you know, just to make sure I’ve got it all. But let me tell you, the reactions I’ve been getting are wild. The person I’m working with has been getting super irritated whenever I ask questions or point out something I’m not 100% on. The attitude is just – whoa. Constant questions like “How did you mess that up?” and “Why haven’t you done this?” It’s like they’re under a ton of pressure or something. The knowledge transfer is supposed to last until the end of the year, and I’m supposed to learn all the different patterns and processes by then. But with the way things are going, I’m not sure how smooth that’s gonna be.Honestly, I’m a little worried about having to work with this person until the end of the year. The tension is palpable, and I can’t help but wonder if it’s a personal issue or if the pressure of the new work is getting to them. Either way, it’s gonna be a challenge, that’s for sure.Detais for IkkakuHere’s a must-try spot in Kagawa! Their chicken is packed with bold flavors of garlic, salt, and pepper – perfect with a cold beer. It’s seriously the best combo! Plus, you get an amazing soup and chicken rice on the side. If you’re ever in town, you absolutely have to try the chicken at this place!

(Before getting to the main topic, here's a bit about my day-to-day life)Today, I had a regular meeting with my boss. I was feeling down because I've been having stomach issues due to stress. I was worried that they might bring up the topic of voluntary retirement again - they've been quite persistent about it. However, to my surprise, I was assigned two ongoing projects for next year. Although they're quite challenging, I thought I'd like to take them on if I can, since everyone is busy. While I can't say for certain that I'm no longer a target for voluntary retirement, there was definitely a noticeable change in my boss's attitude.I want to tell everyone: if you're working in Japan and become a target for voluntary retirement, power harassment, or bullying, join a labor union immediately! In Japan, as long as you're working normally, employees can't be easily fired. However, this might not apply if you're not a member of a labor union. There are many companies trying to take advantage of uninformed people. I believe joining a labor union with lawyers knowledgeable in labor law is one of the best ways to fight against unfair treatment by companies. Now, onto the main topic!Today, I'm introducing Kagawa's soul food, Sanuki udon. I visited a super-famous shop called Gamou Udon, which always ranks first or second in Kagawa's udon rankings. The restaurant operates out of a regular house, giving it a unique and charming atmosphere. Don't you think? The udon starts from just 180 yen, and tempura is 120 yen. It's one of the cheapest places in Kagawa, yet the taste is top-notch. As it's a popular spot, the udon is always freshly boiled. You know how fresh things always taste better, right? That's why. Plus, the broth is superb, with an excellent flavoring of dried sardines. This udon has a light taste, so make sure to add some tempura on top. The combination of the tempura oil and the udon creates an amazing flavor. When you receive your boiled udon, you add the broth, green onions, and ginger yourself. It's quite exciting! It gets extremely crowded around lunchtime, and there's a possibility they might sell out. So, it's best to go before 10:30 AM.10/14-【最大P36%還元】【公式・直販】 デスクトップパソコン office付き 新品 Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 27IRH9 27インチ QHD IPS液晶 Core i5-13420H搭載 メモリー 16GB SSD 512GB Windows 11 Home Microsoft office 搭載 送料無料 1年保証ゲストハウス屋島【Vacation STAY提供】

Regarding the voluntary retirement issue I mentioned before, my boss brought it up again.I told them that I wouldn't use a job placement company. In response, they threatened me, saying there were no suitable positions within the company, and asked if I'd consider a completely different role or relocate to a rural area.I've consulted with the labor union about this, and we have another meeting scheduled for this week. You often hear that Japanese hairstylists are skilled, right? I experienced this firsthand when I lived in the UK. In Japan, we have a service called "1000-yen haircuts." Due to recent inflation, the actual price is often around 1200 or 1500 yen. The haircut usually takes about 10-20 minutes, making it a convenient option. When ordering, it's helpful to show a picture of the hairstyle you want. I used to go to fancy hair salons, but after moving to Chiba, it became difficult to travel to Tokyo for haircuts. So, I started using these 1000-yen haircut services. For simple hairstyles (like trimming 2cm off the length or reducing overall volume), they work perfectly fine and give you a neat cut. I highly recommend them. I use this service every three weeks and I'm very satisfied with it.ベイリゾートホテル小豆島小豆島温泉 オリビアン小豆島 夕陽ヶ丘ホテル <小豆島>

It's already October.I got an offer from my boss to introduce to a recruiter, just like the lay off manual I've heard they make at the company.I knew that I was vulnerable to get laid off because I was a transfer from a company that was merged into my current company, but I felt really bad when I was actually told that. Moreover, my boss laughed and told me that there was no position for you anymore and that I should definitely work for another company! I was pissed off that he kept saying that to me.I repeated at least five times, pretending not to realize that I was being told to leave the company, that I would like to find a new position at this company. My boss repeated that the job you are doing is being downsized and even if a position were to open up, there would be no filling it. He repeatedly told me that I should definitely talk to a recruiter!! That's must be great.ok, If it's so good, why don't you go yourself? That night I couldn't sleep because I was looking up information about the lay off of the company I was working for. and I found labor union. The company I work for is famous for their lay off every year, so the labor union is strong, and I immediately contacted them and yesterday I became a labor union member!!Next Monday, HR will be notified of my union membership and my boss will be informed from the HR.In Japan, it is very difficult for a company to fire a full-time employee. It is even more difficult to fire a union member.Because firing a union member is considered as an attempt to dissolve the labor union.Of course the company brainwashes new employees into believing that labor unions are a bunch of freaks, and that if you become a member, you will never get promoted.Because if there are more union members, they won't be able to fire employees. The company only want young people who work like horses for low wages and want to throw them away if they become depressed from overworking. That's why the company never wants to increase the number of union members. If you are a manager and a number of your people join union membership, you will no longer be promoted! You will drop out of the career track. My boss would be very impatient.I don't care if I were treated like a freak in the company because I was willing to quit, and I'm not interested in being promoted, If this goes to court with the company, of course I'm going to fight.I have my regular meeting with my boss next Tuesday, I'll report what they said next time!【最大P36%還元】【公式・直販】 デスクトップパソコン Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 27IRH9 27インチ QHD IPS液晶 Core i5-13420H搭載 メモリー 16GB SSD 512GB Windows11 送料無料 1年保証Details for Onigiri-yaThere's a restaurant in Japan that specializes in onigiri (rice balls). You think seven eleven onigiri are delicious, don't you?yes, It's true! But don't you want to experience more delicious onigiri? They use special Kyoto rice for our onigiri!More than any other treat, Japanese people are satisfied with onigiri seasoned only with salt and grilled saury!Plus a bowl of miso soup would be great!
