NO starting smoking【シリーズ10-line】：迷いモンシロチョウ2010

It's another story for today, but current ruling party brought up a proposal to lower legal drinking and smoking age to 18 as well as voting age .
Even if you have nothing to relate with our country, if you are concerned about health of younger generation, you would feel like attacking that they are idiots, I suppose.
The first thing I thought of was:
When I was seventeen - a third-year high school student, after a sports festival in my high-school, students had closing parties at parks and banks of a river nearby the school in the midnight, and exploded into police matter.
-Me? Back then, I regarded school as a place to study, and that's why I behaved myself as a good student.
My birthday is April 1, so I had already graduated high-school when I became eighteen, but eighteen-year-old teenagers are likely to be in high-school yet.
Then, if drinking at eighteen is legalized, similar cases will upsurge and teachers, who are already occupied enough with various duties besides teaching, will be forced to shoulder more burdens.
It's what people ignorant of reality are likely to do to raise in immediate popularity and tax income.
-they always postpone inconvenient things, and again.
At the same time, adults who don't show children responsibility as adults would be also a problem.

There is an opinion that they might as well set price of tobacco at more than 1,000 yen.
JUST as for me, no matter how high the tobacco price and tax, since nobody in my family nor me smoke, it's like a water off a duck's back -so all I can say is just do it if they want .
On the second thought, I cannot deny the objection that new kinds of crime like illicitly tobacco and problems like different types of addiction can occur if the tobacco price sore rapidly.
On the other hand, in New York, legal purchasing age for tobacco is twenty-one -why don't we learn this?

Since what panjandrums and tobacco makers are doing is no better than drug dealer ,
Education is important after all -not at school but at home.
If parents smoke, children would be more likely to dabble in tobacco, so adults should show good examples first.
Habit is what you select, so if you dabble in tobacco, it was your choice, then it's irresponsible that you cannot quit.

Talking about tax, recently, I read that tax unpaid the most from business operators is consumption tax .
While they try to grab as much tax as they can from anyone they can tax,
They have various duties to do before they raise consumption tax again and besides they even place general public's daily shopping under government surveillance!!!
