Last saturday I talked to a guy in Yogi park.He said he worked as a military policeman in Kadena air base and married an Okinawan woman.He could speak japanese a little. It seems that a NPO runs a community service there ,and he and other americans work together. I heard he is from Florida.
「フロリダは沖縄より暑いですか。」と聞こうと思ったが、
Is Florida hotter than Okinawa.は間違っていると思ってやめた。
Is it hotter in Florida than in Okinawa.が浮かばなかった。
This was my third time to talk to native English speakers there.
(I'm not sure my English expression is accurate.)
