（2月8日に） BBC1 で放映された番組『 Looking Different 』では、形成外科の技術が人の一生においてとても有意義な役割を担うことや、子供たちが普通の生活を楽しむための手助けとなることが紹介されていました。
私は、ヘイリーちゃんに畏敬の念さえ感じました。顔面の奇形に負けることなく、ヘイリーちゃんはいつも微笑んでいました。ただ悲しいことにヘイリーちゃんの家族は、無関心という世間の無常に立ち向かわなければなりませんでした。このようなテレビ番組の放映がさらに求められて、万人が受け入れられる社会の創造に貢献できればいいなと思います。

I was in awe of Hayley, who always had a smile on her face, despite her facial abnormality. Sadly, all the families had to deal with cruelty caused by other people's ignorance. More programmes like this are needed to help everyone to be accepted by society.
