Elton Johnのライブ観戦に行ってきました。
プロモをかねてのツアーでしょうが、「黄色レンガ」の40周年にもあたる年なので、
同アルバムからの選曲が多かったですね。
ちなみに「The Diving Board」からは２曲のみの演奏。
今回のライブはOpening Act（前座）無しとは聞いていたが、
エルトンのツアーに同行している2Cellos（実際にバンドに加わって演奏）が
２曲ほど前座で演奏し、エルトン・バンドの登場となりました。
エルトンのオープニングはドラマチックなFuneral for Friend/Love Lies Bleeding。（名曲！）
今年66歳のエルトン、すごいスタミナです。。。まだまだ現役続行中！
