LSU EVERBEARING - A choice, medium sized to large, sweet, yellow-green fig with white to amber flesh of high quality. It bears fruit from July through the summer and into the fall here in Louisiana. The quality is increased when ripening occurs during dry weather. This very fine quality fig was hybridized by Dr. Ed O'Rourke of Louisiana State University.

DESCRIPTION
A chimera which produces green fruit with yellow stripes and strawberry pulp. Pyriform with prominent neck. Mealy texture. Leaf: not variegated. Aficionados in California say it can produce excellent, fresh fruit. In the South its flavor is mediocre. (001a) (004) (006) (013) Medium size striking yellow with green striped figs have amber-pink delicious flesh. Rich gourmet super sweet flavor rates it as one of the best. Moderately late ripening and needs a long warm growing season for a full and abundant crop. Attractive branches have yellow striping to match the figs. (1158)

DESCRIPTION
One crop, very productive. Harvest in the middle of August. Round, purple, thick, resistant, flesh strawberry colored to red garnet, stalk thick and short, non-existent collar. Essentially fresh, big little juicy but delicious and sweet, commercial variety, consumed fresh. [Translated from French](046)
