乙武洋匡さんの40才の誕生日会が数日前に行われた。その時の奥さんの挨拶が話題になっている。
乙武さんは大小便や顔を洗ったり、髪をとかしたり、入浴など一人ではできない重度障害者で
その世話は並大抵のことではなかったとのことである。子供が生まれてからは子供
の世話をしなければならず、旦那さんの世話が十分できなかったかもしれない。
それが夫の不倫に自分にも責任の一端があると述べた理由とのことだった。
乙武さんはお母さんの大きな愛情で育てられ、そして今は奥さんの愛に支えられている。多くの障害がある
ので已むおえないことかも知れないが、彼は両親や家族がそれをしてくれるのは当然と甘え過ぎているのかもし
れない。私は彼は周囲に助けや愛情を求める以上に、周囲の人に対して報恩感謝すべきだと思う。

Mr. Ototake celebrated his 40th birthday several days ago.

Since her husband has a severe handicap, he can'ts treat after his bowel movement,
wash his face, comb his hair, take a bath etc.
She has to help him with his another daily living, but after having their kids,as she has to take care of
their children, she has not been able to take care of him sufficiently.
It is the reason why she said she was also a responsible for her husband's adultery.
He was brought up by his mother with big love, and now helped by his wife's love.
He may be counting on parent or family to help him , because he has many disabilities.
I think he should appreciate the people around him more than asking help and love for him.
