今日家に帰った時は孫たちはもういなかった。彼らは6月4日に母親と来日し今日7月
21までの 47日間我が家で過ごした。日本の小学校で漢字の読み書きその他の学科を
勉強した。きのう1学期が終了し、かなりよい成績の通知書をもらってきた。彼らは
今朝6時に関西方面に出発し、滋賀県で従妹達と遊んだり姫路の祖父母達に挨拶する
ことになっている。姫路市で約1週間過ごした後アメリカのアイダホ州ボイジに帰
る。この期間に日本でいっぱいよい体験を積んで行くことを願っている。

When I came home today, they have already gone. They came our house June 4
with their mother and staid till today July 21, 47 days. They studied in

elementary school to read or write Chinese characters with other subjects.
It was closed first semester at yesterday and they were received a diploma
with good results. They went to West Japan in early morning 6 AM today to
play with their cousins in Shiga prefecture or to greet their grandparents
in Himeji. After spending about 1week in Himeji, they will leave to Boise
Idaho.
I hope them to have many nice experiences in Japan during this season.
