Shohei Ohtani hits in five consecutive games for the first time this season, contributing to the Dodgers' 12-run big win with a straight triple to the fence

In his first at-bat in the first inning, he hit the third pitch with a 2-0 count, but was caught out on a fly ball to shortstop.

In his second at-bat in the third inning with runners on first and second and no outs, he hit a curveball on the fourth pitch, which resulted in a grounder to the pitcher. Ohtani remained on first base and started on Betts' first pitch, successfully stealing second base. This was his ninth stolen base of the season.

In his third at-bat in the fourth inning with two outs and a runner on first, he was caught out on a fly ball to third base.

In his fourth at-bat in the sixth inning with two outs and a runner on first base, he let the sixth pitch go by and walked. Ohtani scored on Betts' timely triple, and then Freeman hit a two-run home run, scoring four runs in one go.

In his fifth at-bat in the eighth inning, he hit a triple over center field, showing off his "great running" skills. He scored on a wild pitch immediately afterwards. His speed shone through as he scored the 10th point.
