At school, at work, or at home, you may often find yourself getting irritated, thinking things like, “I hate this about that person! I wish they’d do it this way instead.” In particular, the more you try to “correct” the other person’s behavior or attitude, the worse you feel.
But that’s exactly like yelling at a “TV screen” in an attempt to change what’s on it—you can’t change the other person. The only thing you can change is “yourself.” In other words, you need to tune “your own frequency” to the channel you want to watch (or experience).
Furthermore, the other person is a mirror reflecting “your frequency.” No matter how much someone irritates you, they are actually just reflecting your own frequency; they are simply giving you an opportunity to “change yourself.”
