If we think of “time” as flowing in a straight line from the past → present → future, we become bound by the “past.”
But in reality, “everything” is densely condensed and exists within the single moment of “here and now.”
If we think of this in terms of a “flipbook,” we can understand it more clearly.
A “flipbook” is a collection of still images, each slightly different from the next, with each one representing a distinct parallel world.
By flipping through these pages rapidly, we experience the “passage of time.”
In other words, “movement” itself creates the illusion of time.
Therefore, if you rewrite the content of the page representing “here and now,” the story that follows automatically changes.
In this way, once you realize that the workings of the world are like a “flipbook,” you’ll come to understand that you are free to rewrite the story as you wish.
