去年の今日、私達はロンドンのケンジントン公園近くの小さなゴシック調の教会でささやかながらも結婚式を挙げました。本当は秋に挙式するはずだったのですが、hiroroの韓国転勤に伴い、急遽早く挙げることに...今振り返ると、私達って結婚する前からバタバタしていたのね。（苦笑）滞りなく、無事に式が終わったのですが...二人共、極度の緊張から挙式のことは何も覚えていませんでした。（苦笑）でも、あっーという間に終わった挙式。今になるともう少しウェディングドレスを着ていたかったなぁ～（笑）と思います。この1年を振り返り、海外転勤や怒涛の新婚生活、義父の看護など結婚1年目を迎える前にバタバタあった1年だったけども、これを二人で喧嘩しながらもクリアできたことは改めて今後何があっても二人でクリアできるという自信にもつながり、しんどいことも多かったけど最終的には結果オーライ！と思えるようになり、今では本当に経験できてよかったと改めて思いました。今後も年に一度、結婚生活を振り返った時に結婚生活を通じて「夫婦の絆」というものを感じながら二人で歩む年数を重ねていきたいと思います。

Last year today, we wedded at a small Gothic style church near Kensington Park in London. We were suppose to get married last fall but due to hiroro's transfer to Korea, we decided to get married early. When we look back, it seems like we were always busy, even before we got married.We got through our wedding ceremony without any problems. But since we were both so nervous, we didn't remember what went on at the ceremony. It ended so fast. I wish I could wear my wedding dress a little longer. When I look back upon my first year of our marriage,it seems like I had a busy year with living abroad, chaotic newly wedded life,looking after my sick father-in-law and etc.. But as a result, I think we went through a great experience together with lots of ups and downs and fights that made us a new trustworthy relationship, that we can go through just about anything together from now on. When I look back once ayear about our marriage, I hope we can continue to gain "a special bond through our marriage" like this, every year throughout in our marriage life that will continue on.
