It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man.
非暴力は人間に与えられた最大の武器であり、人間が発明した最強の武器よりも強い力を持つ
Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
力は肉体的能力から来るものではない、それは不屈の意志から湧き出るものだ
An nation that is capable of limitless sacrifice is capable of rising to limitless heights. The purer the sacrifice the quicker the progress.
限りない犠牲に耐えることで国家は反映することができる
Non-cooperation is a protest against an unwitting and unwilling participation in evil.
You will eat not satsfy your palate but your hunger. Aselfindulgent man lives to eat; a selfrestrained man eats to live.
人間は生きるために食べるべきであって味覚を楽しむために食べてはならない
Love is the strongest force the world possesses and yet it is the humblest imaginable.
愛はこの世でもっとも効果的な力だ にもかかわらずこっとも謙虚である
It does not require money to be neat clean and dignified.
To forget how to dig the earth and tend the soil is to forget ourdelves.
