4. In our country, from the end of April to the beginning of May is long holiday period.
Last week must have seemed long for people working under the rule of calendar and children going to school.
By the way, in our country, May 5 is national holiday Children's Day.
Originally, this day was Boys' Festival .
On the other hand, March 3 , the day of Girls' Festival is not national holiday -needless to say
So once I felt it was unfair -which might be only me .
Although, Later, I read and understood that.
However...
Last year-end, when I bought this year's calendar and schedule book, I learned for the first time that August 11 is a new national holiday called Mountain Day .
Whatever the reason this national holiday was established, for general public in our country, August 11 is just before the Bon holiday season.
For some people, it would be easier to take Bon vacation, but for some people, it can affect work schedule if a national holiday is set on such a day -at least a few people around me say so .
And school children might not appreciate because August 11 is in the middle of summer vacation.
When I was searching English translation of this holiday, I found an online rumor that they must have set this holiday in the middle of summer vacation because if there are too many national holidays on school days, children become lazy .
Then if that's the way panjandrums think, it might have been more meaningful to set August 15 as national holiday than August 11...
But whichever the answer is, when the nuclear power plants in question were resumed last summer , it was just when a nearby volcano suddenly showed sign of activity.
Didn't they feel weird about such situation itself at this point?
6. Basically I avoid using proper nouns, so excuse me for roundabout expression.
I'm taking this occasion since I'm typing in this language:
I'd like to welcome President from the country used nuclear weapons visiting the prefecture experienced atomic bombing .
Press secretary declare that it's wrong to take President's visit as apology,
But At least I'm not the one who think it matters or expecting such a thing.
I'd like to notice people who still justify the use of atomic weapons, as well as the suite visiting the prefecture experienced atomic bombing;
All I'd like to ask you is to reflect whether it's OK to repeat the same tragedy in the future, and take this historical incident as a negative exemplum, for the sake of yourself and Earth .
