I do not agree with Bismarck that leaders must decide problems with "blood and iron" because I believe that "talking and respecting" each other is important. "Blood", war, does not make people happy, except the king, because ordinary people and soldiers die from fighting. Using "blood and iron", only the king can benefit from them, and almost no one can be happy. If I was a king, I would rather negotiate and make people much happier.
I believe that imperialism was more a force for evil because only the nation that controls weaker nations can get profit, and the weaker countries can never benefit from the imperialism, and they only get loss. I wonder no one in the stronger countries that had colonies on the other place never thought about the people, who suffered from the effect of imperialism. Many people must have died from it, and the other people, who weren’t put to death, also suffered from the strict control by other nation, such as the control over India by Great Britain. Although I admit that many countries benefited from the imperialism and developed significantly, I do not agree with the idea of imperialism.
