スティーヴ・ハケット と
最愛の妻、キム・プアが32年間の夫婦生活にピリオドを打ちました。
今日は１月４日ですが４月１日ではないので、嘘ではないでしょう。





以下、ハケット夫妻からのコメント

It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the end of our marriage. Ours has been a long and enduring partnership and we want to thank all our friends and fans for their affection and support over the last thirty-two years. Unfortunately nothing stands still and times change but life must always move on. We have both enjoyed and nurtured a wonderful and perfect collaboration combining art and music. A full life full of extraordinary and memorable moments.

As you all know and have followed we have grown together over the years and influenced each other’s work. Who would forget the beautiful picture ‘Entangled’ that inspired the song or the song ‘Blood On The Rooftops’ that inspired the painting. And, of course, the numerous covers that complemented the music.

We feel privileged to have been able to have shared so much. We would like to reassure our friends all over the world that we continue as friends and that nothing will change that bond. Even though our marriage has ended this year we will continue to run and administer our companies together.

We want to wish each other all happiness and success in years to come.

共同作業も当分の間、継続していくようですね。


絵と音楽を通じてお互いの作風に影響を与え合うという点で、
ある意味、理想の夫婦だったと思えるだけに今回のニュースは残念ですね。
