英会話教室に行ってきました。親知らず について話しました。⭐️⭐️でした。
I went back to Fuji for pulling off the wisdom teeth last month. I go to the dentist for brushing every 4 months. Last December the dentist told me to go to the oral surgery to pull out the wisdom teeth.
So I went the Fuji Central Hospital with the letter of introduction . I was very nervous the operation as I remembered another wisdom teethe’s operation 2 years ago. Before the operation the nurse measured the blood pressure. As I have a white robe symptom , the blood pressure went up 170. The dentist said “it’s too high to do the operation. You need to treat about the high blood pressure. The operation was postponed till April.
Wisdom teeth is called “parents unknown “(OYASHIRAZU )in Japanese. It’s from that the parent already have passed away when their child’s wisdom teeth teethed. The wisdom teeth appears about 20 years old. In old time as the life span was only 50 years the parents can’t see their children’s wisdom teeth.
Nowadays some of Japanese don’t have the wisdom teeth. The ratio of having that teeth is going small due to the change of the life style. The 80 % of Japanese may had the wisdom teeth 10,000 years ago (Jomon period). And 700 years ago (KAMAKURA period) ,it may be 50%. The less than 40 % of modern Japanese have the wisdom teeth.
My wife have only two wisdom tooth. She always says proudly to me,
“ I’m more modern than you.”
