　　私の女房殿も、この大平原の一角から産せられた勝れものにございます(笑)。

　　一概に「柿」と言われても、当地には多種類なる柿がございまして戸惑うばかりであります。

　　今日のご親戚の柿は、当家の娘さん誕生の「記念樹」とかでご家族の誇り高き縁木なのであります。

■　それが・・なな何と「木醂（きざわし）」なのです。
　　大粒の実は、一般市販の庄内柿を一回り大きくした立派なもの、一個食べたらお腹パンパン。

　　私は若い頃から、渋を焼酎で糖化して作る「甘柿」は、あまりにも甘過ぎて、苦手でありました。

　　その点、この「木醂柿（きざわしがき）」は実は固くパリパリ、甘味は品（ひん）よく軽く・・・
　　いくら食べても飽きることはない。

　　味はと云えば！甘過ぎることもなく、噛み混み、飲み込む寸前・・喉元に伝わる甘味、これが品（ひん）よしにつながるのだとか・・・(笑)。

　　この平野で採れる！木醂柿も女房殿も、どこかに共通するものがあるのが不思議だ・・・(笑)(笑)(笑)。
