I had 45 minutes to go to a next appointment, so I entered a certain fast food restaurant to kill time.
I glanced at drink menu and I remembered something.
The day before, my colleague who was sitting in front of me was drinking a cup of cocoa in the morning.
I didn’t eat breakfast and the flavor of hot cocoa beat me.
I couldn’t think nothing but drinking a cup of hot cocoa.
So I ordered it there.
I could drink it in my office but I didn’t want to.
If I drink it in my office, I would make it by an instant cocoa with hot water.
Although instant cocoa was made by VANHOUTEN, I prefer to drink it with milk.
The taste is weaker if you make it with water.
Do you know what I mean?
I hope so.
If not, please try tasting both of them, and you will know what I mean.
I finished drinking it at the fast food restaurant and I wanted to go to wash my hand.
I went to the lavatory, and then I got a great shock.
Yellowish liquid was splattered on the place where you sit.
I couldn’t think anything for a moment but I made up my mind and wiped it off with a toilet paper after the shock passed.
How embarrassing!
My friend in Taiwan used to tell me you shouldn’t sit on a toilet seat in a public toilet.
People say “When you are in Rome, do as the Romans do” but that was something I couldn’t do. (^^;)
I sometimes get mixed up with the word “トイレ” in English.
There are too many words to describe it, so I looked it up in the internet dictionary.
トイレ

((米俗)) a john
(家庭の) a bathroom
(軍隊･学校などの) a latrine
(銀行･会社･駅などの) 《米》 a men's [ladies'] room

トイレが近い have to go to the toilet frequently (at night)
トイレに行く go to the lavatory [toilet]; (婉曲的) go to wash one's hands; use the bathroom (家庭で)
トイレに行っている be in the lavatory [toilet].
