Yesterday, I received a phone call from one of my colleague.
She asked me to go there and learn the reason why they came.
I didn’t fully understand the situation, but anyway, I went to the entrance. There were two guests waiting for someone to arrive. I spoke to them and tried so hard to listen to them. I guess they came from South East Asian country. They were quite friendly.
I asked them the reason why they came to our office, and finally I understood they wanted to receive one of our services.
When we finished our conversation, I went to an elevator to see them off. One of them asked me why I was following them, and I replied “we usually see our guests off like this, and I suppose this is Japanese way to show politeness.”
I wasn’t sure they understood what I said, but it was a quite nice experience. When I was walking back to our office, I talked to myselfI must thank for all the English teachers who taught me!”
