財務相、進退問題に
中川昭一財務・金融相は月曜日、週末にローマで開かれた記者会見でろれつが回らず、目を開けていられなかった映像が世界中で流されたことで、政治生命が問われる状況に直面した。
中川氏は失態について、風邪薬のせいだと説明。中川氏の指導役で、批判にさらされている麻生太郎首相にとっては、ありがたくない出来事だ。麻生氏は極端に低い支持率と郵政民営化への否定的な発言に対する非難により、自身も政治的に危うい立場でこらえるのに必死だ。
