初台レクチャー終了後に、鶴見で行われたIRIS古楽器アンサンブルヘンデルメサイアに行ってきた。

ソリストに若手の旬な顔が揃い、それはそれは天上の美しさだった。至福だった。

合唱も古楽器アンサンブルも非常にうまくてびっくりだった。
指揮者の奥村泰憲さんの牽引も見事。指揮者はずっと歌っていた。
合唱の中には暗譜の方も多くすばらしい集中力だった。

アンサンブルは室内楽的編成で、それだけに美しさが際立っていた。

ソリストではカウンターテナーの村松さんが圧倒的にすばらしく、完全に魅了された。村松ワールドを作り出していた。すでに人気者でファンもついているようだ。

テノールソリストは宮西さん。彼は先日の国立音大の修士オペラの助演でヨヒョウだったのです。そのあまりの美声に魅せられた私は彼の美声が際立つであろうメサイアのソリストが聴きたかった。やはりすばらしいお声でした。
ご本人にうかがったのですが、メサイアのソリストはすでに何回も歌われているとのことです。

バスソリストは黒田さん。背が高くイケメンで男らしいお声がお父様にそっくり。端正な歌いっぷりが藝大だなと思った。

宮西さん、絶品の美声！オラトリオにぴったりの清澄な声です。

3. Ev'ry valley shall be exalted (tenor)

　レガートもすばらしい！

Scene 2: The coming judgment

5. Thus saith the Lord of hosts (bass)

　お父様そっくりの美声。

6. But who may abide the day of His coming (alto)

　CTの村松さん登場でぶっとびました。すごい！なんだこの世界観！！クリント・ファン・デア・リンデを聴いて以来メサイアのアルトはやはりCTだと思っていたが、彼もすばらしい！すごい集中力。

7. And he shall purify the sons of Levi (chorus)

　メロディアスな部分。
　合唱は常に優しくピアノで歌うのだ。これはもしかしたら指揮者の巧妙な牽引だったのか？素人はフォルテで歌おうとするものだが、違うのだ！

Scene 3: The prophecy of Christ's birth

8. Behold, a virgin shall conceive (alto)

　先ほどは悲しい顔で歌っていたCTが一転笑顔に。
　装飾音的歌唱部分もすばらしい！
　大声を出さないで表現する合唱がスゴイ！コントロールされている！

9. O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion (chorus)

10. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth (bass)

11. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light (bass)

12. For unto us a child is born (chorus)

　すばらしい！スタッカートで弾むように。常に優しく敬虔に歌う。

Scene 4: The annunciation to the shepherds

　室内楽の編成。

14a. There were shepherds abiding in the fields (soprano)

　いよいよソプラノの登場です。パワフル！

15. Glory to God in the highest (chorus)

　フーガ

Scene 5: Christ's healing and redemption

16. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion (soprano)

　装飾音
　パワフルでオペラティック。

17. Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened (alto) →ソプラノ独唱

　スタッカートで歌う。

23. He was despised and rejected of men (alto)

　いよいよ最も注目の部分！これとんでもなくすばらしかった！非常にゆっくり、一言一言明確に歌う。すごい。特異な比類なき表現力。発音もすばらしい。ア・カペラ部分が、シーンとした会場に響き渡って極上に美しく震えたほどだ！

24. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows (chorus)

26. All we like sheep have gone astray (chorus)

　フーガ。装飾音も。合唱うまい！後半はめっちゃテンポを落とす。
