2008 , a song dedicated to a mother from her daughter made a deep impressions on many people:
" Haha sanka " (a paean for my mother) by a soul and reggae singer-songwriter, Metis .
According to Metis, her mother brought her up all by herself.
When she wrote this song, her mother was fighting against illness -and departed to Heaven in December 2008, after this song was introduced on a TV show and impressed many people.
Once she was very depressed, but she received letters and messages from many fans encouraging that she is never alone.
Zutto sobani " (we are together, now and forever) as a token of gratitude so that she could encourage people.

Metis was born in -where an atomic bomb was dropped on .
She has performed songs expressing spirit of love and peace.
The most important theme expressed in this album is gratitude for many people -her fans, friends, and staffs working with her- and most of all, her mother:
Needless to say about those two songs and " Kono utani nosete " (my gratitude expressed in this poetry) , " Anataga aiwo kuretakara " (because you've given me true love)
After she lost her mother, she looked back her experience and thought what to do next.
And the answer was " making new steps toward the new world " -as " March " and " Change The World " show.
Oh Yeah! " and " Mr.Big ", this resolution is shown.

In the future, she wishes to try various kinds of club music using ethnic musical instruments, not only reggae.
Her dreams are to keep on performing songs of love and peace which move many people's heart, and construct elementary schools for children in underprivileged countries with sales of her CDs.
