And one month after a massive earthquake in Taiwan on Feb. 6
.
In the first summer after 3.11 earthquake, I went to Taiwan for the first time with Mother twice on tour. Because Mother is a high-school teacher, and in that autumn, she had to supervise students at a school trip to Taiwan. Mother wanted to visit when she could enjoy a non-working trip, and besides, back then, it was still in the early days after she had leg surgery, And I cannot use Chinese, but instead, understand English enough to manage during the short trip to abroad. At our second visit, we visited a famous temple. It's already almost five years and it might be too late, but I'm placing the prayer I offered at this temple: Gratitude for a lot of aid from this island, and blessings of God in this temple and island for this wonderful island and its people.
As I look around in our country, I feel like wondering what and whom the undergoing reconstruction is for
-which is maybe next time.
But in the meantime, since we're faced with thesame difficulty, we could help each other; even when we are fully occupied with problem of our own, we might be able to exchange information and wisdom -At least, we are not slack enough to hung up on people who wish ill to others and depress to the same low level.
