アデニウムソコトラナムの植え替え(Adenium socotranum repotting)
気温が上がり活動を開始する植物が増える中で、ソコトラナムの葉が黄色くなってきました。新芽も出ていません。冬の間も加温したケース内で順調に育っていましたが・・・試しに鉢から抜いてみたら根鉢になってすっぽりと抜けました。根詰まり状態のようなので根を軽くほぐしてから一回り大きい鉢に植え替えました。これでしばらく様子を見てみます。As the temperature rise and some of plants are start to growing but socotranum leaves were turning yellow. New leaves does not out,too. In winter,too but that was growing well in warm glass case.As a test I pulled out from the pot and roots were clogging. Repotting to larger pot and I will see a state for a while.

アンボンゲンセの苗の植え替え(Pachypodium ambongense seedlings repotting)
昨年実生したアンボンゲンセの大きさに大分差が出てきました。They becoming looks difference of size that ambongense seedlings germinated last year.前回試しに植え替えた物も調子が良さそうだったので他の大き目の物も植え替えをしました。どれも根の状態は良さそうでした。 I did repotting larger seedlings because the seedling that I did repotting the other day was looks well. Every seedlings looks good roots condition.

パキポディウム･デカリー種まきその後２(pachypodium decaryi sowing vol.2)
デカリーの種を蒔いてから1週間少々、1粒発芽していただけでしたが、残りの種がやっと発芽し始めました。今までに蒔いたパキポディウム（えびす笑い･えびす大黒･エブレネウム･ウィンゾリー･バロニー･グラキリス等)に比べると発芽が始まるのに時間がかかりました。About more one week passed when I sowed decaryi seeds. Only one seed has germinated but finally seeds that remaining was beginning to germinate,too. They needed longer time than another pachypodium that I have ever sowed.最初に蒔いたデカリーが発芽したのを確認してから蒔いた種はまだ1粒発芽しただけです。これも時間が掛かっています。The seed sown after confirming that the decaryi sown first germinate has germinated only one. It seems this one needed much time,too.

パキポディウム･ビスピノーサム発芽その後(pachypodium bispinosum after germination)
ビスピノーサムの発芽がから約2週間経って少しづつ差が出てきました。They become look there are a little difference at seedlings after when that has germinated.太いものや細いものが区別できるようになりました。It became to distinguish between thick and thin ones.成長の速い苗は本葉が出てきました。First growing seedlings have new leaves.

プテロディスカス(pterodiscus)
毎年良く花を咲かせるプテロディスカスラスポリーは今年も新芽が伸びてきました。Pterodiscus raspolii which blooming well every year, sprouts have also grown this year.毎年あまり伸びないヌガミクスを鉢から出してみたらほとんど根が出ていないので、少し根本まで切り返してみました。うまく生長するでしょうか･･･Pterodiscus ngamicus which is not growth well have taken out from pot, roots has not grown well.I did cut thin roots as a test. Will this grow well?

果樹(fruit trees)
ここ数年実を付けたことが無かったあんずに久しぶりに実が付きました。加工用の酸味の強い品種ですが、完熟させると何とか生食できます。apricot has fruited after a long time. It is sour varieties but once ripe we can eat as it is.今年はリンゴの開花が遅れましたがやっと咲き始めました。通常は開花した後に新葉が出始めますが、今年は開花と新葉が同時に出始めました。This year apple flower bloom too late but finally apple flowers have bloomed. Usually leafing out is later than blooming but this year both were same time.柑橘類もつぼみが膨らんできました。Also citrus have flower buds.柿の花は特にいいところもありませんが、新葉がとても綺麗です!Persimmon flower is inconspicuous but new leaves are beautiful.今年も収穫の秋が楽しみです。I'm looking forward to the harvest autumn this year.

デカリーの種まきその後(after sowing decaryi seeds)
デカリーの種を蒔いて3日目、1粒が根を出しました。翌日にはもう1粒種が割れてきました。少し大きめの種だから発芽に時間がかかるのか、それとも発芽温度が足りないのか・・・A day after sowing decaryi seeds, one has took root. Next day the other seed has cracked. Because they were slightly larger seed,does it take time for germination or germination temperature is not enough･･･比較的低温に強いと言われるビスピノーサムは順調に育っています。Bispinosum which is said to be strong against relatively low temperature is growing steadily.ナマクアナムは2本ありましたがアルビノの苗はいつの間にか無くなっていました。(大きい方は後に蒔いたビスピノーサム)There were 2 namaquanums, but the Albino seedling was lost without known.(the larger one is bispinosum that sowed later)残った1本は本葉を出しています。The remaining one has new leaves.

えびす大黒･そろそろ収穫？(harvest season biginning soon?)
結実したえびす大黒の莢が大分大きくなった来ました。Brevicaule hybrid seed pod that fruited has grew mostly.しかし、今頃になってやっと新葉を出し始めたえびす大黒も有ります。今のところ花芽はなさそうですが・・・But presently there are burvicaule hybrid that sprout new leaves finally. It seems there are no flower buds.

パキポディウムの実生苗を屋外に出しました(Pachypodium seedlings have replace outdoor)
暖かい日が続いたのでパキポディウムの実生苗を屋外に出しました。I have replaced pachypodium seedlings outdoor because warm day was continued.昨年実生のエブレネウムとえびす大黒eburneum & brevicaule hybrid seedlings that have germinate last yearグラキリスとエブレネウムgracilius & eburneumアンボンゲンセとバロニーはもっと暖かくなるまで屋内ですambongense & baronii are indoor until when more warm.

パキポディウム･デカリーの種まき(pachypodium decaryi seeds sowed)
昨日届いたデカリーの種を蒔きました。種が少し大きいのでいつも使っている100均の蒸し野菜用のトレーでは少ししか蒔けませんでした。デカリーの種まきも初めてなので、これでうまく発芽したら残りの種も蒔きます。I sowed pachypodium decaryi seeds that arrived yesterday. Because the seeds are a little large, I could only sow a little in a tray for steamed vegetables that I always use. I'll sow the remaining seeds if the germination will well because decaryi sowing is first time.このデカリーは4年目になりますがまだ一度も開花したことが有りません。今年もまだ起きません。開花するのにはまだ枝が細いでしょうか？These decaryi are 4 years passed from that I have gotten but they have never bloomed.Still dormant this year,too. Will branches be slim yet to bloom?

パキポディウム･ビスピノーサムの実生(Pachypodium bispinosum seedlings)
種まきから4日経って大体発芽したみたいです。発芽率は６割でしょうか。設定温度は20℃でした。It seems that have germinated almost 4 days after seeding.Germination rate was about 60%. The set temperature was 20℃.そして先ほどデカリーの種がとどきました。アンボンゲンセのような色で少し大きくて1cmくらいの長さです。And decaryi seeds arrived earlier.They looks like ambongense seed color and they were a little long length is about 1cm.

色々なエブレネウムの花(eburneum flowers)
先日エブレネウムの花について書きましたが友人が「エブレネウムは色々あります」と教えてくれて、画像を見せてくれました。素晴らしいですね!The othe day I wrote about eburneum flower but friend tell me "eburneum has some variety" and showed to me that picture. Amazing!

パキポディウム･ビスピノーサムの種まき(Pachypodium bispinosum sowing)
先日試しに蒔いたビスピノーサムは順調に発芽しました。先に発芽したナマクアナムより大きくなっています。Bispinosum that sowed the other day for testing was germinated steadily.It is larger than namaquanum that sowed ahead.一番大きいのが後から蒔いたビスピノーサム。小さい2つがナマクアナムlargest one is bispinosum,others are namaquanum.残りの種を全部蒔きました。早いものは2日目に発芽しました。I sowed all seeds that remained. First one has germinated 2nd day.次はデカリーを蒔く予定。到着待ちです。Next plan is decaryi sowing.I waiting to arrive.

エブレネウムの花(Pachypodium eburneum flowers)
今年花を咲かせたエブレネウムは3本ありましたが、同じ花は一つも有りませんでした。2本は白い花でしたが片方はすこしフリル状の花で、花の基部も少し長くイノピナツムが入っているような花でした。どれもエブレネウムとして入手したものですが･･･There were 3 eburneums that has bloomed this year but there were same flower not at all.Two of them were white flower but one of two is frilly flower and base is a little longer feeling.Another one was cream color flower,but all have gotten as ebureneum.白花 white flower少しフリル状の白花で基部が少し長い感じ white frilly flower and base is a little longer feelingクリーム花 cream color folowerフリル状の白花とクリーム花 frilly white flower and cream flowerイノピナツムの花 inopinatum flower

パキポディウムの実生苗の植え替え(Replanting pachypodium seedlongs)
今年結実したパキポディウムの莢が大分大きくなってきたので、播種場所を確保するために昨年発芽後から放置したままだったパキポディウムの植え替えをしました。To I secure the sowing place, I replanted pachypodium seedlings which was left untouched after germinate last year.Because seed pod that fruited this year has become grow and it seems will be collect seeds.2号ポットに植え替えました。エブレネウムとえびす大黒でしたが、タグを付けていなかったのでどちらがエブレネウムか分からなくなってしまいました。I have replanted to 5 cm pot. It was eburneum and brevicaule hybrid but I haven't tagged it so I don't know which was eburneum.

断崖の女王の植え替え(Replanting sinningia leucotricha)
今年も断崖の女王の種が採れ始めたので、播種場所を確保するために昨年実生の苗を植え替えました。I was replanted sinningia leucotricha last year seedlings for secure a sowing place because it has begun to collect new seeds also this year.どれも大きさは0.5cm～1cmくらいです。All are about 0.5cm～1cm in size.

今年2回目の種まき(2nd sowing this year)
先日注文した種の内の一つが届きました。今回はビスピノーサムです。この業者さんは私が注文する業者さんの中で一番丁寧に梱包してくれます。今回はボールペンのおまけ付きでした。The other day,seeds were arrived that one of the I ordered .This time is pachypodium bispinosum seeds.This trader(Koehres) packed most carefully that I have ordered until now.This time I got a ballpoint pen extra.ビスピノーサムは初めてなので試しに10粒蒔いてみました。I seeded 10 seeds for testing because bispinosum is first time.ナマクアナムの鉢に余裕が有ったので蒔いてしまいました。既に発芽しているナマクアナムの内1本は色が違います･･･Because there was plenty in the pot of Namquanam, it sowed.One of the seedlings already germinated has a different color.Is it OK? Is it rare?ナマクアナムと同時期に蒔いたアデニウムは大分遅れて発芽しました。ナマクアナムより温度が必要だからでしょうか。このアデニウム、一人5粒限定で「Yemen」の注意書きがありましたが、もしかしてソコトラナム？以前Yemenというアデニウムの種を買ったことが有りますが安かったし数量制限も無かったので･･･Adenium seeds that sowed same time namaquanum has germinated so later than namaquanum. It seems adenium seeds required higher temp.This adenium seeds were limited 5 per person only and there is notice"Yemen".By any chance,were these socotranum? Because there is no limit and there were cheep price when I got adenium Yemen seeds before.

小さいえびす笑いにも種が出来ました(small pachypodiums has gotten seeds,too)
今年は上手く受粉できたようで小さいえびす笑いにも種が出来ました。It seemed to be able to pollinate well this year and also small brevicaule has gotten seeds pod.小さい株には負担がかかるでしょうか？しかし、どこかで見た「動物の髭がパキポディウムのに効果的です」は本当でした。こいつが落とした髭を使いました。Is it heavy burden on small plants?But somewhere I saw "an animal whiskers is effective for pachypodium pollination" was true.I used whiskers that droped him.

アルブカ・その後（albuca･after that)
アルブカに花芽が上がってきましたが気温があまり上がらないせいかまだ開花には至りません。Flower buds was coming up in albuca but temperature is not rise so much yet it does not to reach to flowering.数年前におまけでもらったサボテン(フスカス?)は強健種のようで今まで屋外栽培でしたが良く育って花も咲かせます。The cactus(Fuscus?) which I gotten a few years ago as extra was seems robust species.I was cultivated in outdoor until now but was growing and flowering well.Flowering season in ourdoor is coming soon.

花きりん(euphorbia milii)
だいぶ暖かくなってきたので昨日花きりんを外に出しました。今朝見てみましたが特に問題はなさそうです。I placed milii outdoor yesterday because it was becoming warmer.It seems no problem when I looked them in this morning.昨年実生の苗も外に出してみました。It placed outdoor,too, that seedlings last year.ついでにフォッケアエジュリスとボウィエアも外に出しましたが特に問題はなさそうです。Incidentally,I placed outdoor fockea and bowiea but it seems they looks have no problem,too.これはまだ小さいので土に埋めてあります。It is buried in the soil because this bowiea is still small.

近くをぶらついて来ました(Puttered around the area)
だいぶ暖かくなってきたので近くをぶらついて来ました。It has become warmer so I puttered around the area.菜の花が満開でした。Rape blossoms were in full bloom.雪柳も満開でした。Thunberg's meadowsweet(spiraea thunbergii) were in full bloom,too.遠くの山には雪が残っていましたが、気持ちの良い風が吹いていました。Snow remained in the distant mountains but a pleasing wind was blowing.土手のそばには雉がいました。There was a pheasant biside the embankment.

そろそろ収穫？(harvest time is coming soon?)
断崖の女王の種がそろそろ採れそうです。It seems to harvest soon sinningia leucotricha seeds.昨年実生の断崖の女王は・・・今年の実生は昨年より肥料を多めにしようと思います。These are seedlings that germinated last year.I will give more fertilizer this year than last year.小田園芸さんが育てたものと比べると葉も塊根もとても小さいです。Leaves and caudex are very small compared with the one raised by a meister.

最後の花(The last flower)
一番最初に咲き始めたえびす笑いは最後の花になりました。It is a last flower that brevicaule bloomed first this year.昨年より多く莢が付いています。猫の髭の効果は大きかったみたいです。It has more seeds pods than last year.It seemed that cat whiskers had great efficacy.花が終わって新しい葉が出てきました。Coming end of flower season then new leaves has sprouted.
