アンボンゲンセの実生苗(pachypodium ambongense seedlings)
7月に入ってから気温が上がってきたからか、この1か月でずいぶんと生長しました。They have grown very well during this month because temperature was raised. 休眠中だったアンボンゲンセも新葉を出し始めました。Also ambongense that was dormant have new leaf out.

デカリーの実生苗(Pachypodium decaryi seedlings)
出発当日に屋外に放置して約3週間、ずいぶん成長してトレイの土が見えなくなるほど葉が増えました。植え替えをしようか・・・3 weeks passed from when they replaced to outdoor. They have grown very well. Is it better to replanting?

帰宅時の様子(state when I came home)
約3週間後に帰宅、天気任せでしたが状態は悪くないようです。緑が増えています。Returned home after about 3 weeks. It left for the weather but the condition seems not to be bad. Green color is increasing.実生苗も大分葉が増えました。also seedlings are increasing leaves.奇想天外にダメになったものがありましたが、原因は水不足のようでした。Only some of welwitschia mirabilis were dead. Reason is that it was seems water shortage.

山の温泉(hot spring in mountains)
川の中から温泉が湧いています。Hot springs gush forth from bottom of river.お立ち台のようなところで着替えて温泉にはいります。changed clothes on deck(center of photo) and go in hot spring(right steam)トレッキングコースのベースにもなっています。there is base of trekking and there is walking path溶岩台地を抜けて帰ります。through the lava plateau to back way

南アイスランド･その2(3 days tour to south iceland vol.2)
氷河地帯を見た翌日は山周りで温泉に行きました。The day after saw glacier area I went to hot spring via pass through mountains.It was a very rough road.橋の無いいくつかの川を渡って across some rivers without a bridgeどちらが先に渡るか・・・which will go first温泉の手前の川で車が立ち往生していました。a car stuck in river in front of hot spring.川の手前に駐車して歩いて温泉に行きました。To park a car in front of the river and we were going to hot spring by walk.

アイスランドの花？(Icelandic wildflowers?)
行く先々で可愛らしい花を見ましたが固有種でしょうか？道路わきにはルピナスがたくさん咲いていましたが、「外来種で特に増えているそうです」。There are many kind of flowers also on roadside. Is it endemic species in Iceland? There is also Lupinus but it is alien species and it seems it is increasing.

グトゥルフォスからの帰り道(on back way from "GullFoss")
グトゥルフォスからの帰り道にゲイシールとシンクヴェトリルに寄りました。I got to "Geysir" & "Þingvellir" on the way back from "GullFoss".ゲイシール Geysir小さなスーパーマーケット a little supermarket on the wayシンクヴェトリル Þingvellirシンクヴェトリルのダイビングポイントdiving point in "Þingvellir"

グトゥルフォスに行ってきました(day trip to "GullFoss")
アイスランドの滝の一つ、グトルフォスに行ってきました。「フォス」とはアイスランド語で「滝」を意味するそうです。I went to one of waterfall in Iceland that it has named "GullFoss". "Foss" means "waterfall" in Icelandic.グトゥルフォスに行く途中 on the way to "GullFoss"山の向こうに氷河が見えます。It can see glacier beyond the mountains.グトルフォス GullFoss「GullFoss」の駐車場からの眺め view to mountains from "GullFoss" parking.

近所を散歩(rambling nearby)
散歩道から from walking path散歩道はとてもきれいですが場所によってはこんなものもあります。Walking path is very beautiful but depending on a location there are also such things.これの落とし物です。This is the lost thing of them. Have an eye!

近くの海岸(seaside nearby)
滞在先から歩いて数分の海岸、いい天気で気持ちいいです。道路も歩行者、自転車、車道と区分されています。It is few minutes from where I am staying. Roard is sparated as walker, bicycle and car.買い物をする近所のスーパーNearby supermarket where I shopping.

アイスランド･その2(Iceland. No,2)
アイスランドの天気はとても変わりやすいです。今日は中心街の周辺を約2時間の散歩をしましたが、晴れたり雨が降ったりでした。The weather in Iceland is changeable. Today I have took a walk a place where a little away from the city center,but during about 2 hours walk it was rainy and sunny.

芋(three potatoes)
葉の無い冬場は全く面白くない塊根ですが、蔓が伸び始めるとそこら中に絡みつく暴れん坊ぶりが面白いです。It is not interesting caudiciform plants because it has not leaves in winter. But it is interesting looks like wild boy when start to extend vine and tangled around.

ユーフォルビア(euphorbia)
古くから我が家に居るカプサインテマリエンシスとシリンドリフォリア、目立たない花が咲いています。カプサインテマリエンシスは初めて花を見ました。どちらも似たような花です。 It has passed long time since I got "capsaintemariensis" & "cylindrifolia", and they are blooming inconspicuous flowers. It is first time that I look "capsaintemariensis" flower. Both are looks as same flower.シリンドリフォリアは自家受粉するのか根元に発芽しています。"Cylindliforia", It can Self-Pollination? It seems seed spill on the soil and germinated.

ダシリリオンとボーカルネア(dasylolirion & beaucarnea)
約1週間で発芽が始まったダシリリオンロンギッシマムとボーカルネアグラキリス、10日目にはすべて発芽しました。発芽率100%!Germination has started sowed after a week, at 10th all seeds have germinated. 100% germination rate! ボーカルネア beaucarneaダシリリオン dasylirion既に基部が膨らんでいます。Already it can to see tubers.

フォッケアムルチフローラ(fockea multiflora)
火星人に大分遅れてムルチフローラも新芽が伸びてきました。これは伸び始めると速いです。Fockea multiflora is beginning to new leaf out, too late from fockea edulis. This is so fast growth since begin to new leaf out.おまけのフォエチダも発芽しています。Foetida that where do not know come from has germinated, too.
