Time Tunnel/ Toshiki Kadomatsu

1981 , he has always been a popular singer.
But in 1993 , he suddenly stopped his work as a singer; he expresses it as ' freezing '

After that, he was working as a producer.
However, when the January 1995 quake occurred, He visited Kobe, and realized that there are people who are saved by his song- that was one of the backgrounds he decided to resume his performance.

The theme of the album is 'time'.
" One second is short, but when I close my eyes, it's longer than forever " ( Tokei [ clock ])
" I'm not calling you tonight, so find time for yourself "( Nanimonai yoru [ night without anything special ]) ...
The album starts with an instrumental tune ' Time Tunnel
It's followed by a funky song ' Lunafairymiena '.
' Kazeno ayagu ' ( in the wind variegated in color ) is written and performed with Satoru Shimoji Incarnatio ' in 2002.
' Houkaino zenjitsu ' ( the day before the collapse ) is dedicated to the people who perished in the earthquake in 1995.
At the concert, he said that the real theme was death.

Some people might wonder why I didn't place this album of Kadomatsu first although this was the first album released after 'thawing'.
Of course, " The gentle sex " (See Feb. 15, 2007) was the easiest to introduce. -But not only that.
It was just one year ago-
When I heard the news that Tomohito Aoki , the bassist who had always worked together with Kadomatsu, departed from his life with acute heart failure on his 49th birthday, the first thing I thought was:
"Then, I could have members' autographs at the concert of Four of a Kind, and it turned out to be a keepsake from him as a result..." -I was rather calm -or paralyzed.
But a few days later, when I was listening to ' Realize ' in this album-
" Sometimes I suddenly become unable to see someone whom I think I can see anytime... "
I was struck by a sudden shock.
Since then, I put it under seal for more than half year.
