The title means power of songs .
Chikuzen selected 11 Japanese songs to cover from:
・ Written and released from 1975 to 2000
・ Songs on chart for more than 30 weeks
The popularity of singers and promotional strategy affect the term a song is on chart.
However, if a song is on chart for more than 30 weeks, it can be considered to have real power and energy.
The songs themselves has power, and Chikuzen himself haｓ a special feeling for them

And the first song selected was " Sayonara " (goodbye) . (See Nov. 2, 2007)
When he records cover album, he esteems melody, harmony and atmosphere of the songs, and at the same time, he tries to express himself to the fullest.
The songs are arranged by various arrangers.
On some songs, the arrangements are changed a lot -and it is to develop his song.
Chikuzen says that he is not sure if such great arrangementｓ were done without the power and energy of the original songs .

Really good songs are given new life with Chikuzen's song in real time.
-And it is a significance of cover works.
This year, I happened to realize the fact by myself -not through TV or radio programs Chikuzen appeared - and it turned out to be an important discovery for me...
