Since last April, I oblige myself to place these "serial 10-line essays" around the 11th of every month.
And already one year since a massive earthquake and tsunamis destroyed vast area of eastern Japan.
At first, I was completely at a loss what to do until I could make sure that none of my relatives in Akita, Tokyo and Tochigi were injured -I confess.
(Back then)

As I type these compositions every month, I've gathered various news naturally.
My impression so far is:
After the 3.11 earthquake, what we can be proud of, faults we must reflect upon, and hidden social contradiction have burst to the surface.
So various things have been put under question .
And how we have been " Blind to the Truth ".

-I cannot help suspecting so.
How do we respond the effort of the people at the spot?
How do we respond the supports from all over the world?
Reconstruction is sluggish and there are still so much to do.
Yesterday, I heard on the radio that arousing public opinion is one of the tiny but important things we can do for reconstruction.
Then I should -or I'm going to keep on this "serial 10-line essays" as long as possible.
Just today, I'd like to take this occasion to place my gratitude to the world.
