But originally, this national holiday was today -October 10.
Because in 1964, Olympic game in the capital of our country was opened on this day.
Olympic game is coming back to the same city in 2020.
As for this, my thoughts have been:
If they are trying to invite and hold Olympic for unity and development of the world, which is a kind of positive goal, and it leads to improvement and development of our country, I'm supporting Olympic invitation.
If their purpose is just status or economic effect, or just to enjoy Olympic in our country, I'm against Olympic invitation.
-As I've introduced again and again, basically, it hasn't changed even after our country won the Olympic invitation.
If there are people and media counting chickens before they are hatched, I feel like reproaching them to think over what they have invited Olympic game for.
Even so... if our country won the Olympic invitation at all, I'd like to congratulate and welcome frankly:
At first, I was simply concerned about health hazard to athletes and audience.
But I read and agreed with an opinion on a weblog that this Olympic was worthwhile because the actual circumstances in this country were revealed and became widely known , such as violation of human rights against minority races, grafts, and various tyrannical attitude of this country
-Not knowing that our country would be in the same shoes back then.
This time, our country is exposed to the world whether the stricken area of 3.11 earthquake disaster would recover in a real sense .
Seven years later, if our country show sham prosperity by discarding weaker area and people or simply putting a lid on unfavorable things, our country wouldn't have a right to complain if others accused our country as liars.
Of course, many people say that we still have a lot to do before inviting Olympic.
This opinion is true.
At the same time... our country won the Olympic invitation by declaring to solve polluted water problem.
It seems our country is still sensitive to external pressure while being slow to get moving without external pressure.
For the sake of the stricken area and people struggling there, I'd like to ask all over the world to keep an eye on our country strictly and warmly .
And I'd appreciate your support and advice when we are in need.
And also for the sake of athletes, NEVER tolerate obstructionists!!
