Blind to the truth ...without learning

While there are still long long way to go for reconstruction, the government's matter of concerns are already Olympic and resumption of atomic power plants.
I suppose it's not only me who is indignant,
However...
A few days later, there was a sudden earthquake in the midnight.
I had a rude awakening, and I turned TV on to see where was the hypocenter, thinking with my sleepy head that this earthquake could be an expression of anger and protest by Earth -
It might be only me who thought such a thing, though.
However...

At first, I was going to place this last month, but I expected that it would take time to write this, so I placed a different diary.
why the responsibility of atomic power accident is still ducked :
People who could be responsible for this problem keep on recriminations ;
The power company side must think that atomic power plants are national policy and they were forced to promote,
Also, they have taken safety standard set by the government, and the government considered there would be no problem, and they accept that, and that accident occurred.

Do they think profit takes priority to safety and life after all?
Do they remember that our country won Olympic invitation by promising to solve radiation-tainted water problems?
Or do they say that people in our country have already been so luxurious that we cannot live without dangerous energy sources and risking ourselves?
There was a massive earthquake on the other side of the Earth and tsunamis came to our country -but it seems that even this didn't remind us a lesson.
Even so...
A few days ago, I heard on a radio that now things are different from before the 3.11 earthquake and atomic power accidents, while the government and power company are engineering plots for resumption of atomic power plants:
They used to silence the residents and local municipalities with subsidies, but now, local municipalities that cannot receive benefits of subsidies are not acquiescent anymore.
There is the first lawsuit case by a local municipality to file for an injunction of a new atomic power plant-
We'll have to wait and see how this lawsuit goes.

Today, as a memorandum, let me place my excuses why I'm being skeptical against atomic power plants.
1. I suppose the country that our country learned atomic power plants from is a continent country without frequent earthquakes, but on the other hand, our country is a quake-prone country.

2. After I met a new friend from a stricken prefecture, I learned hastily about atomic power plants,
And I read that petroleum is consumed a lot to purify uranium into nuclear fuel, although it's true that atomic power plants in themselves don't emit carbon-dioxide .
