ロバート・フリップとジョン・ウェットンが、
５月５日の午後にお茶とケーキで和んだそうです。(笑)


フリップ師の日記 によれば、
フリップ師がボーンマスのウェットン宅を訪問、お茶を飲みながら
ケーキやネバネバしたお菓子（なんだろう？）をほうばったとか。

A morning dealing with arising stuff & then a wonderful afternoon
having tea with John Wetton at his home in Bournemouth.
I took the cakes, many & gooey (and was a hero of cake consumption),
John provided the very large lattes.


ウェットンは、ウェットン・ダウンズの新作「ＩＣＯＮ」から、
アニー・ハズラムとウェットンのデュエット曲「In The End」を
聞かせたところ、フリップ師もご満悦だったそうです。
フリップ師「ジョンの声は昔より良くなった…」

John played me his duet with Annie Haslam, from the new JW/GD album,
which is exceptional.
John's voice is as good as I remember, and perhaps better.
I left feeling that my life had been improved.


それにしても二人とも大の甘党なんですね…
糖尿病にかかってもおかしくないわけだ。
