物悲しいギターのアルペジオで始まる『シェイプ・オブ・マイ・ハート』は、1993年にリリースされたスティングの5枚目のソロ・アルバム『Ten Summoner's Tales』に収録された曲です。

1994年公開の映画『レオン』で挿入歌となりました。

こんな素敵な曲がどうやったら生まれるんだと思いましたね。

スティングは人権保護や環境保護など社会活動にも積極的に参加。

グラミー賞を何度も受賞する世界的なミュージシャンでしたが、一時期長いスランプに苦しんだそうです。

この曲、いつ聞いてもいい曲だなあと思います。ルンバ踊れます。
