『以前は熟成能力のある密度の高いワインを造りたかったのですが、よ
　り早く飲め、瑞々しくエレガントなワイン造りへとこの数年前から模
　索しているのです。確かに造りを変えました。ひとときは凝縮したワ
　インがもてはやされていましたが今は違います。心地良くて飲みやす
　いワインが増えた背景は、消費者がそれを望み、それが今の生産者の
　ワイン造りにやっと反映され始めたからだと思います。』

　The Grivot 2006 Clos Vougeot is predictably fuller, more palpably
　dense, and less dynamic than other of the wines in this collection,

　smoked meat, ginger, and blond tobacco make for a penetrating
　nose and sappy, pungent palate impression, carrying into a sustained
　finish. There is plenty of admirable material here, even if
　the wine doesn't quite sing when compared with some of its cage
　mates. I would plan to give it 2-3 years in the bottle and then
　follow over the subsequent half dozen

　Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune.
　The Richebourg 2011 from Etienne Grivot has a splendid bouquet
　with ripe, delineated raspberry, wild strawberry and red plum
　scents that are suffused with fine minerality. This just gets
　more and more complex in the glass. The palate is well balanced
　with fine tannins, crisp acidity and vibrant raspberry and
　cranberry fruit. It is nicely structured, which at the moment
　lends it a more masculine personality, but everything here is
　in its right place and there is precision all the way to the
　precise and tensile finish. Which 2011 Burgundy got the highest
　average score out of 250 tasted blind This one.

　グリヴォはリシュブールの区画をロマネ・コンティ寄りに所有する。
　84年にエティエンヌの父、ジャンが入手したものだ。樹齢60年以上
　の古木から生まれるこのワインは、並外れたパワーと均整のとれた
　エレガンス。ヴォーヌロマネのモノポール群を別格とすれば、やは
　り最高のクリマであることを実感させる、計り知れないエネルギー。
