今日の大谷翔平全打席 長嶋茂雄さんに届け 月に放り込んだ２３号ホームラン
メッツ 4ー3 ドジャース（日本時間6月3日・ドジャースタジアム）3月のカブスとの東京開幕シリーズ中に撮影した長嶋さんの写真などを載せ、「心よりご冥福をお祈りいたします」と追悼した。大谷と長嶋さんは2016年12月にインタビュー対談で初対面。ミスターが「負けるチームにスーパースターは生まれない」と話すなどスーパースター論を語らった。53分間の対談の中盤。当時22歳の大谷へ「長嶋さんに聞いてみたいことはありますか？」と問いかけると、打撃の“悩み”を打ち明けた。「打席での心構えというか、どういう気持ちで打席に立っているか。配球を考えるのか、自分がどういうスイングをしたいかを優先するのかを聞いてみたいです」長嶋さんは、間髪を入れずに、こう答えた。「来た球を打つ。そして走る。投手の中には内角、外角と嫌らしい投手がいるけど、大した問題ではない。あと1つ、僕の場合は初球から打つ。1ボールからも打ちにいく。2ボールだったら打たないかな。2ボールになれば打者の勝ちだよ。1ストライク2ボール、1ストライク3ボールの時は勝負。そのカウントでは、その投手が一番いい球を投げてくる。それを必ず打つ、と思っていましたね」つまり、大谷翔平は上記の長嶋さんに対して何度もうなづいたと言える。バッターボックスに入って、まるで長嶋さんとの対話を思い出しているようだ。長嶋茂雄さんのご冥福を心よりお祈り申し上げます。Mets 4-3 Dodgers (June 3, Dodger Stadium, Japan time)Posting a photo of Nagashima taken during the Tokyo opening series against the Cubs in March, he mourned the loss, saying, "May he rest in peace."Otani and Nagashima first met in an interview in December 2016. 大谷翔平 試合前に実戦登板 ラッシング捕手とバッテリーを組み マイナー選手に２９球投げる
