The last day of my trip had arrived. Following the previous day's travel, I continued my journey on Tenryu Hamanako Line.
I began my travel at Tsuzuki Station, as I had stayed at a hotel that offered a view of Lake Hamana the night before, which was conveniently accessible from the station.
In Tsuzuki Station's waiting room, I found a swallow nest. A mother swallow came and flew over the railway again and again to find food for her chicks.
The train I boarded was TH2114, which was the same carriage as I saw at a turntable in the railyard near Tenryu-futamata Station.
While travelling, I watched the view over the train window.
I photographed the train at Tenryu-futamata Station during a four-minute stop.
It was my first time travelling on the section from Tenryu-futamata Station, which made me more excited.
Sakuragi Station is also listed as a tangible cultural property of Japan (platform and main building). Since 2022, the station has been nicknamed "the hometown of Yamaha piano" because of a Yamaha piano factory located nearby.
I completed my goal of travelling along the entire Tenryu Hamanako Line. I also enjoyed seeing the turntable and roundhouse in the railyard and watching the nice view of Lake Hamana, Tenryu River, and the greenery mountains during the two days.
