Used 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV Crossover Pros and Cons
Superb fuel economy at 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
Upgraded engine offers a nice punch of power without compromising fuel economy very much.
Blows the competition away when it comes to cargo space. Whether the rear seat in in place or folded down, there is a lot of usable room.
Outstanding crash test ratings by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
New hill-descent feature increases safety on downhill slippery services.
Four-wheel independent suspension offers a fairly smooth ride.
Small turning circle makes Santa Fe easy to maneuver and power.
Significant amount of body roll around corners.
Steering feels artificial.
Front seats are placed at an awkward height and don’t offer much thigh support.
Rear seat does not recline or slide, making it difficult for passengers to get comfortable.
Navigation system is an added option; something most companies offer standard today.
Exterior styling may be a little too simple for some.
Cheap, hard plastic is used throughout the cabin.
Cabin design is extremely dull.
Upgraded 18-inch wheels adversely affect ride quality.
