More Used BMW Sedan Reviews / All BMW Cars

BMW includes night vision capabilities into this ride, so drivers can look out for pedestrians. The new system can prove very effective, since it can relay to the driver whether a pedestrian is on the road of on the sidewalk by means of a warning symbol. It is made clear known whether it can also detect the presence of an animal, or if humans are the only life-forms the system is able to make out. Apparently, this new system can even confer with speed limit signs and decide whether or not it should warn the driver about the speed. BMW has also included a special camera that will help drivers know their limits in relatively adverse weather conditions. The new BMW houses an array of 18 inch alloy wheels, with 1 inch wheels covered with performance rubber optional. There is a new lane departure system which notifies a driver if there are cars in his blind-spot by vibrating the steering wheel. BMW has really outdone itself with the addition of these neat features, and consumers shouldn't pay much mind to the $100,000+ they have shelled out for the car.

There are numerous trims that consumers have the option of choosing from when purchasing this car. The base model of the car, the 740i, has a 315 horsepower engine, which isn't quite much to write home about, but that can be upgraded to a more reasonable 400 horsepower, which features in the 750i that costs about $12000 more. If you're still not satisfied with all of that power in the engine, you still have the option of upgrading to the thunderous 760i Li, which has 535 horsepower, but can only manage 13mpg in the city. All of the trims listed above have both the option of being upgraded to a All wheel drive version in the 'xDrive' variant for better handling, or to the 'Li' line, which just provides loads more power to the vehicle. BMW's new 7 series sedan is certainly a magnificent car, and so is to be expected from their flagship line, but how well does it stack up when scrutinized? Overall, I can say that this car will be able to please most critics. BMW's flagship car continues to be the series 7 and they continue to put their best tech into it and they continue to see the gain from producing such a fine automobile.
