The Chevrolet Corvette Coupe is a car that has been in production for six generations. Its first production dates back to 1953, when the first Corvette was a convertible. The Corvette is the sports car that has received the greatest admiration from car enthusiasts for its design, handling, and performance. The latest in its line is the Chevrolet Corvette Coupe grand sports edition. It is also referred to as the Chevrolet Corvette C6 LS3 coupe.

In the Corvette Coupe grand sports edition, much advancement has been made. This model can be considered a hybrid of the Corvette LS3 for its power train, and the Corvette Z51. The Corvette sports edition offers a wide body design, and the suspension offered is bred for racing vehicles. The Corvette offers the comfort of a luxury car and immense, massive horsepower for those who enjoy speed.

The latest Chevrolet Corvette Coupe provides greater acceleration and power when compared to its previous model, the Z51. The C6 LS3 is equipped with a 6.2Lt V8 engine with 430 horsepower. It is designed to generate a torque of 424 pound-feet and is equipped with a standard exhaust system. This provides good acceleration and great top speeds when cruising on the highway. For the Chevrolet Corvette Coupe grand sport, greater importance was given to handling, in comparison with the previous model. The tires have a wider wheel-base, to achieve better handling at high speeds. Other new additions to the grand sport model include the use of a stabilizer bar, use of springs, and revise bar for improvements in handling.

With the upgrade in the engine capacity for better power, similar levels of improvements have been made in the brakes. The size Z06 brakes are used for the functional ducts. In the front, to trigger emergency braking, calipers with six pistons and 14-inch rotors are used. For the rear braking, four piston cylinders are used with a 13.4-inch rotor. The right combination of these brakes offers excellent braking. All the other necessary safety measures, such as air bags and fog lamps are included with the utmost care.
