More Used Daihatsu Hatchback Reviews / All Daihatsu Cars

While the mechanical and exterior improvements to the Daihatsu Sirion Hatchback can be described as fairly radical for the Series Three version, most reviews state that the interior trim still lacks a little. One of the first impressions that will be picked up is a vast expanse of uninspiring grey plastic that somewhat detracts from the vehicle's well laid out interior.

As a low cost compact, the Daihatsu Sirion Hatchback comes with all the interior features you would expect from a car of its class that should be expected to provide the minimum of frills. Yet the Sirion surprises, with standard features that take in electric exterior mirrors, front and rear fog lamps, central locking, air conditioning, power steering, front and back electric windows, sound system hooked up to six speakers and sixteen inch alloy wheels with all season tires.

With the Sirion Hatchback, Daihatsu have spared little expense and invested a lot of thought in ensuring high levels of safety for the driver and passengers benefit. The car comes with airbags all disc brakes (ABS).

As you would expect from a compact hatchback, the Sirion is fairly economical as far as fuel consumption levels are concerned, averaging 32 miles per gallon, with 28 miles per gallon being recorded in the city and around 36 miles per gallon on the open road, according to the few unofficial reviews available.

The Daihatsu Sirion is a first class car for the money, and it has to be because it is competing in probably the most crowded and competitive nice of them all these days and has almost numerous rivals, Among the many are the Chevrolet Aveo, Citroen C1, Citroen C2, Fiat Panda, Fiat 500, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i10, Hyundai Getz, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 107, Renault Clio, Seat Ibiza, Skoda Fabia, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Aygo and the Sirion's clone Toyota Yaris.

Daihatsu know that they need to be on top to get the sales and as so present their Sirion Hatchback with a standard three year or sixty thousand miles full parts warranty to prove how much they believe in it.

In an era where cost awareness and fuel economy is becoming an increasing consideration, the Daihatsu Sirion Hatchback presents an admirable case as a car to be considered. It contains little surprises, will work hard for its place and with expansive passenger space in relation to its size and cost states a strong case.
