The 2012 Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe delivers unparalleled performance with a 4.5-liter 32-valve V-8 engine, which is paired with a seven-speed automated manual transmission. Although many drivers are feeling a loss at not having a manual transmission to control, no one can complain at 562 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. This machine can move and there is just no competing with it. An aluminum block and heads help it reach a maximum speed of 202 miles per hour, blowing through the zero to 60 miles per hour test in an amazing 3.4 seconds. Many are saying this powerhouse sets the bar when it comes to top of the line sports cars, and they are probably right. Lightweight aluminum construction makes it easy to accelerate to top speed quickly, and new technology makes the 458 safer than some of its predecessors. Handling is second to none, with quick response to every driver command. Fine tuning of the chassis means no rear wiggle going around corners.

As a single trim two-seater, it's easy to assume that every Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe rolls off the assembly line looking basically the same. However, when you buy from an authorized Ferrari dealer, your personal guide will walk you through the thousands of combinations of interior and exterior optional features that will make your vehicle unique. This includes your choice of an impressive 37 paint colors, which is unheard of!

Standard safety features included on every Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe include stability and traction control, anti-lock ceramic brakes, and front head and side curtain airbags. Add in daytime running lights, an engine immobilizer, and electronic brakeforce distribution, and suddenly you don't just have a pretty car; you have value. Other standard features include tire pressure monitoring, emergency braking preparation, dusk sensing headlamps and day time running lights. Optional safety features can be added for an additional cost, but all are worth every penny to offer peace-of-mind on the road. These include adaptive headlights, a rearview camera, a fire extinguisher, and front and rear parking sensors. The 2012 Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe has not been rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

What is there to say about the Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe? It screams performance, demands attention and provides world-class handling. Even the ride is smooth like silk, thanks to the four-wheel independent suspension. This is one of the most recognizable and distinct vehicles on the road, and with a starting MSRP of $229,832, it really should be!
