The 2012 Ferrari FF Coupe is a stunning powerhouse at 651 horsepower and 504 pound-feet of torque. In fact, this machine is ridiculously perfect that the first year's worth of production is already sold out. The engine, a 6.3-liter V-12, is the most powerful that Ferrari has ever built. It delivers dramatic speed and acceleration with a 7 speed F1 automated clutch transmission complete with overdrive. Zero to 62 miles per hour is achieved in a lightning fast 3.7 seconds! As a result of revolutionary design, the Ferrari FF Coupe is the first in its class to offer all-wheel drive, through a remarkable second transmission called a PTU (power transfer unit). Handling is precise, with immediate response, thanks to this all wheel drive design. According to Ferrari engineers, most of the power is sent to the rear wheels for typical driving, but the front wheels offer traction when weather is wet. The primary indication that the Ferrari FF Coupe is different from other sports coupes is a noticeable reduction in the over-steering often seen in competing vehicles. Speed sensitive steering comes standard in this model.

The big engine goes through gas in a snap, emptying the 24 gallon tank at a rate of 11 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. If you are paying $295,000 for a vehicle, this probably is not a concern though. The dual stainless steel exhaust gleams with chrome finishers and Brembo 4-wheel vented disc brakes have standard brake assist and an anti-locking system ensure that there is no issue with stopping short in case of slippery surfaces or an emergency situation.

Two doors keep this sports car sleek, but there is still room enough for four passengers inside. At a length of only 193.2 inches, the Ferrari FF Coupe still boasts a full 15.9 cubic feet of luggage space. The ride is smooth with front and rear coil springs and magnetic fluid-filled shocks. Add in double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension that adapts relative to driving conditions and you can see why you won't even notice bumps in the road.

Standard safety features include stability control, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, traction control, daytime running lamps, low tire pressure warning and side impact door beams, along with dual frontal airbags and dual front occupant side-impact airbags. Optional additions include a front parking camera with a dual view, front parking sensors and a rear parking camera. The 2012 Ferrari FF Coupe has not been rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
