The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is just one in a line of high end Italian vehicles from the company. It is a sleek vehicle that is easily recognizable as a Lamborghini due to its shape and distinctive features. Many sport-car fans tend to gravitate towards the Gallardo which was the company's entry level into the world of exotic sports cars. It is Lamborghini's bestselling car model and in 2010 four models were available, one being the LP 570-4 Superleggera. The main focus of this car is to reduce weight in all aspects of the vehicle in an effort to make it even faster. This model's main competitors include the Ferrari 458 Italia, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage and the Audi R8 GT which has a similar engine. The LP570-4 is an upgrade to the Gallardo LP 560-4 and is similar in many regards with the exception of a few changes.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is known for being more powerful, more dynamic and lighter that the Gallardo 560-4 weighing only 2954 pounds. This makes it the lightest road-going model made by the company. The Engineers also improved the aerodynamics of the Lamborghini by remodeling the front bumper, which allows for large intakes of air. The front end has a sharper image staying true to the other cars in the line. It also has four large tailpipes along with a standard rear spoiler and an optional big rear spoiler. If you opt for either the six speed manual transmission or the six speed e gear you will have to pay an additional 3000 dollars. If you already own a Lamborghini, the Gallardo 570-4 Superleggera will not necessarily give you the urge to upgrade.
