If you are looking for a sedan that just might be the finest luxury vehicle on the market, then perhaps the Lincoln MKS Sedan is right up your alley. A mere glance at this vehicle suggests big money and a high price tag, which turns out to be quite true. In fact, most agree that although it is a lovely vehicle, it is definitely overpriced. That being said, the base model does come with Bluetooth capabilities, Satellite radio and an optional DVD player, but it's as though these inclusions were leftover from older model vehicles and were merely replaced in the Lincoln MKS Sedan as a money-saving technique. They certainly do not fit the luxurious appearance of the exterior of the car. The biggest flaw of the vehicle is the mediocre cabin, which is not what you are expecting when you open the door.

The 2012 Lincoln MKS is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission that boasts 273 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. It can accelerate zero to 60 mph in a quick 7.5 seconds, but gas mileage does suffer a bit at 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. There is also an AWD EcoBoost twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine available that bumps performance up to 355 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque for an acceleration speed of 5.8 seconds.

Many argue that the Lincoln MKS Sedan is just the refined exterior cousin of the Ford Taurus. Some even claim that it certainly does not measure up to it, even with its much pricier tag attached. While there is power behind the hood of the MKS, the Taurus has nearly the same and equally offers just as much interior and trunk room as the MKS. It is also important to note that if you are seeking a quiet ride in your 'luxurious' MKS, again this sedan falls short. While it hugs the road and handles fairly well, there is the sensation of driving with the window rolled down, even when you're not! The Lincoln MKS Sedan could be quite the exciting car, but only if you were not aware that the Buick LaCrosse or the Acura TL existed. What's worse is that if you are springing for the pricier EcoBoost model, you could actually have a true luxury car, like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class or the Jaguar XF. This fact, coupled with the interior that does not match the sleek exterior, often leads to consumers passing over this sedan.
