ProsThe 2012 Panamera Turbo S sedan is well-equipped with both active and passive safety features, which include an electric parking brake, an anti-lock braking system, several airbags (including knee airbags), side impact protection, a rollover detection system, and ParkAssist.

ProsThe Panamera Turbo S sedan is much better equipped than many of the iconic Porsche 911 coupe models, which are stripped of some comfort and technology features to focus on power and speed. Inside the Panamera, you'll find all of the features you've been missing, including a premium BOSE Surround Sound system with 14 speakers, Porsche Communication Management, and MP3 and Bluetooth compatibility. Comfort features, for their part, include power windows and locks, Porsche Entry and Drive, rear window heating, Cruise Control, four individual seats with armrests, a split-folding backseats, an Interior Birchwood Anthracite package, leather and heated seats with leather accents throughout the cabin, and lumbar support.

ProsAs far as power is concerned, the 2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S leads the model lineup. It achieves zero-to-sixty in only 3.6 seconds (.4 seconds faster than the standard Panamera Turbo) and boasts a top track speed of 190 mph due to its 4.8-liter V8 engine that produces 550 horsepower and its PDK 7-speed automatic transmission.

ProsThe Porsche Panamera is a family-friendly Porsche sedan. It will attract buyers that have never considered owning a Porsche before.

ConsThis Panamera has a starting price of $173,200, which is a good bit higher than the standard Panamera Turbo's starting price of $136,700; however, if you're looking for power and luxury molded into a seamless package, it's worth the entire price.

ConsThe 2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S sedan features very unique exterior styling which some buyers might not find attractive. We think its elongated, aggressive look fits in nicely with the rest of the Porsche lineup, however.

ConsThe Panamera Turbo S achieves fuel economy ratings of 15 mpg city/23 mpg highway, which are impressive with all of its power, but that leave us wishing for more as the price of gasoline continues to rise.
