Used 2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S Sedan Trims & Features

The luxurious four-door, full-size Panamera sedan is a unique vehicle for luxury brand Porsche (which is usually known for its sporty coupes) and it's obtainable in eight different model types this year: the standard Panamera, the Panamera S, the Panamera 4 and 4S, (S being the sportier version of both), the powerful Panamera GTS, the Panamera S Hybrid, and the Panamera Turbo and Turbo S. There is also a diesel version of the Panamera available in several European countries- but not in the U.S., which has yet to accept the engine type for most cars. For this review, we'll focus on the Panamera Turbo S, which has a starting price of $173,200.

The Panamera Turbo is certainly faster than the standard Panamera sedan. It achieves zero-to-sixty in only 3.6 seconds and boasts a top track speed of 190 mph due to its 4.8-liter V8 engine that produces 550 horsepower and Porsche's PDK 7-speed automatic transmission. Despite its powerful personality, this sedan also comes with justly impressive fuel economy ratings- at 15 mpg city/23 mpg highway.

What's possibly more impressive, however, is the Panamera Turbo's standard comfort, technology, and safety features. Safety features include an electric parking brake, an anti-lock braking system, several airbags (including knee airbags), side impact protection, a rollover detection system, and ParkAssist. Technology features include a premium BOSE Surround Sound system with 14 speakers, Porsche Communication Management, and MP3 and Bluetooth compatibility. Comfort features, for their part, include power windows and locks, Porsche Entry and Drive, rear window heating, Cruise Control, four individual seats with armrests, a split-folding backseats, an Interior Birchwood Anthracite package, leather and heated seats with leather accents throughout the cabin, and lumbar support, while sporty features include aluminum front and rear axles, adaptive air suspension, Porsche Active Suspension Management and Stability Management. Overall, in review, the Panamera Turbo S is very well equipped.
