ProsAbove all else, the 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan has a rich history as part of the Rolls-Royce lineup. And, being one of the most accessible Rolls-Royce vehicles ever made, the Ghost is sure to continue to steal the hearts of auto enthusiasts everywhere. It's considered a sort of entry-level vehicle for the luxury brand, with a starting price around $250k.

ProsThe Ghost is a powerful piece of machinery, and it boasts an especially impressive amount of clout for a sedan, as it stacks up with many lighter, sportier coupes. It features a 6.6-liter V12 engine which generates a hefty 563 horsepower and 575 lb.-ft. of torque, making it more powerful than the larger Rolls-Royce Phantom. The Ghost is also equipped with an AF eight-speed automatic transmission. Top speed for the Ghost is at 155 mph.

ProsInside its cabin, the base Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan boats various luxurious features, including: fully-automatic climate control, a sixteen-speaker premium audio system, Cruise Control, a garage door opener, and MP3 player, Intelligent airbags ,leather seating, Rolls-Royce Assist telematics, and Voice Control. The Ghost also features daytime running lights, Bi-Xenon headlights, and wood & leather trim on the doors.

ProsLike many luxury vehicles, the 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan is highly customizable. If you can think of a feature to add, it's very likely available for your Ghost. Of course, these options and packages can add up rather quickly, so be sure to keep that in mind!

ConsOf course, all of the Ghost's amazing power does negatively impact its fuel economy ratings. These stand at 13 mpg city and 20 mpg on the highway. But, perhaps when you consider the fact that the Ghost makes it from zero-to-sixty in only 4.8 seconds despite its weight and size, a bit more spent at the pump will be worth it.
