Actually, let's take a step back: one of the most popular Daihatsu sedans in the company's history is the Attis, which is very similar to the Toyota Camry and the Toyota Corolla Attis. It has been common for Toyota to distribute Daihatsu models since 1992, and the Sirion, the only sedan model, Daihatsu is offering for the 2012 year, certainly follows in its footsteps. Many of Daihatsu's vehicles are known as kei cars (or kei jidosha) in Japan, and the Sirion fits within these specifications.
